Come and discover the phenomenal world of fungi with Potluck Cornwall and Stuart Woodman.

Spend the morning exploring a beautiful Cornish woodland, learning how to identify the fungi we find and understanding the differences between edible, inedible and poisonous species. 🍄

This is an introductory session, perfect for anyone curious about mushrooms and wanting to build their knowledge and confidence. Stuart will share his experience and teach us what to look for, from shape, colour and structure to habitat and growing conditions. We’ll also discover the fascinating world of mycelium and why fungi are so important to our ecosystems.

And after our morning of fungi detective work, we’ll head back to the hall where Stuart will have a fungi-inspired lunch prepared for us to enjoy together.

There’s no guarantee we’ll find edible species, so this is about learning, exploring and discovering rather than filling your basket.
